The rigorous six-week, four-hour per day course will satisfy all Common Core requirements for a complete geometry program and will count as a full year of mathematics study in many area schools. This intensive study of geometry will be accompanied by significant homework as well as daily quizzes or tests. This seminar will also serve as a complete review for students who have recently completed a Geometry course and need reinforcement. Students interested in this course must have taken Algebra I during the past school year. Course materials are provided. Ranney students will need the recommendation of their Algebra I teacher and the approval from the Mathematics Chair to enroll. Ranney students who earn a minimum average of 85% at course completion may qualify to enroll in Algebra II in the fall. Students must complete all 120 course hours in order earn credit. NON Ranney students will need approval via their School or District. RSI will provide a syllabus upon request.
